Growing up in rural Lucketts, VA, solo vocalist and acoustic guitarist JP Jones taught himself to play guitar by ear at 10 years old, guided by books, records, and his unwavering love for music.

Influenced by a wide spectrum of genres—including Soul, R&B, Pop, Classic Rock, Country, and the Blues—JP’s setlist is both diverse and deeply rooted in the music he grew up with. His warm vocals and expressive guitar work blend nostalgia with a sound that is unmistakably his own.
